001. Welcome to Neocities
A new wild indie blog appears!
I never was much of a public person, but like many in this website wanted to escape from social media and the way it trapped us with parasocial interaction.
My website will be a place to share my thoughts on several topics, ranging from technology to art to politics to writing to personal experiences.
If you want to follow along, feel free to bookmark this page and check back for updates! Or leave a comment and start a conversation!
I'm also Brazilian, então podem vir!
This is the first version of the blog and while I'm happy with it, it's far from what I envisioned. For starters, I'll write a static wiki generator with blog capabilities and some interactions while keeping it simple and lightweight.
Some info about the current site:
I wrote it in bun.sh and its only dependency it's marked for transforming markdown files into HTML.
I don't have a RSS feed yet but I don't want it to be another dependency. If you know how to write one please let me know!
Lastly, the blog is just a few markdown and html files and some scripts to build it but I'll try to recreate it as a simple binary I can install anywhere and start working on it in under 10 minutes or so.
Maybe with Go or Rust (if I ever learn it).
For now, I'm just enjoying the process of learning and building something I can call my own.
And for good luck, hello indie world!
